The Dirtiest Pesticide-Laden Fruits & Veggies

The Environmental Working Group released their shopper’s guide to pesticides in produce today. The top 12 fruits and veggies listed noted below contain THE highest amounts of pesticides! The others listed beneath ALSO contain pesticides but not as high amounts as the top 12. Pass this list along to EVERYONE you know. Let’s STOP buying these conventional fruits and veggies! If we ALL band together and STOP buying these pesticide foods, then grocery store management will “get the message” and they’ll have no choice but to bring in the pesticide-free versions. We and our families deserve clean, healthy food. Many of you believe that organic fruits and veggies are pricey but in reality they are not overpriced. For example organic celery at my local grocery store is $1.99 and organic celery is just 25 cents more. Pesticide-free produce is now so much more readily available in our supermarkets and they are NOT pricey like they once were a few years ago.
