Louisa’s Anti Aging and Skin Care Secrets: My Favorite supplements
When we’re overwhelmed with the day to day stresses of life such as careers, raising children, paying bills and running errands, our adrenal glands must work at full speed in order to keep up with the stress. After weeks or months of stress, your adrenal system can wear down. Suddenly you can’t concentrate, you’re exhausted, out of energy, have lost your zest for life, you’re forgetful, or you may even have panic attacks. These are symptoms of adrenal exhaustion.
See some of my favorite anti aging, skin care and highly effective natural energizers and mood uplifting suggestions below:
Consider Rhodiola Extract for physical and emotional energy, mental clarity and adrenal support. Rhodiola extract has been used in Europe for centuries as a health-booster. It’s derived from a nutrient-packed plant, Rhodiola Rosea to enhance energy, mood, concentration, physical fitness and improve mental fatigue. It’s very useful to those who are stressed-out, have high-pressure jobs or hectic schedules.
Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine HCl) relieves mental fatigue and gives you more energy. It helps reduce mood swings, fatigue, keeps your immune system healthy, and improves memory and sleep patterns.
Feeling blue or depressed?
Taking daily essential fatty acids Omega 3-fatty acids are highly beneficial for uplifting your mood, help support vascular health, provide joint care, can help slow down aging, hydrate skin and hair, help ignite fat burning and even help balance hormones. Essential fatty acids such as flaxseed, fish oil (sardines, mackerel & anchovies)
Flax seed oil, a plant-based essential fatty acid, is another great choice for uplifting your mood. As mentioned earlier, it’s a rich source of Omega-3 fatty acids that help balance hormones, reduce levels of hormones linked to breast cancer, has heart protective properties, can help relieve arthritis due to its anti-inflammatory properties, and ignites fat burning.
Did you know that nearly ALL overweight women have LOW levels of vitamin D3 and women who take higher levels of vitamin D3 experience 80% less abdominal fat? Vitamin D helps break down fat in the liver, it reduces food cravings, prevents depression, uplifts mood, increases energy, reduces eczema and psoriasis, halts throbbing or migraine headaches, improves bone density, aids immune function and production of healthy cells, reduces the risk of breast and colon cancer 30-50%, and maintains a strong immune system. According to a research at McGill University, vitamin D can help stop cancer. Their research reveals that vitamin D blocks the protein c-MYC, which is responsible for the cell division in more than 50% of ALL cancers. Additional studies note that vitamin D3 may help prevent a heart attack, can calm asthma and rheumatoid arthritis, keep blemishes in check and help the body absorb calcium. Find vitamin D in eggs, milk, cod, wild salmon, shrimp, liver and other organ meats. Almost all women are deficient in vitamin D3, especially those challenged with obesity issues because it is a fat soluble supplement. Have your vitamin D levels checked. It’s an affordable blood test.
Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) is an excellent supplement for adrenal support and mood uplifting. It also helps food turn into energy. If you’re exhausted or have a high-stress job, consider taking Pantothenic acid daily. Find it in eggs, bananas, beans, beans, raw vegetables and nuts.
