Simple Summer Age-Proofing Skin Tips 1

Summer is officially just around the corner. How fun! This means that we’ll be spending more time outdoors. And we all know that playing in the sun, can cause age spots, wrinkles and dehydrated, aged-looking skin.

In just a few hours you can undo all the precious time you’ve taken to keep your skin looking bright and youthful. Below are some Summer Skin Saving Tips and my effective, age-defying Summer Skin Care Routine:

  1. Did you know that harsh UVA/UBV rays can penetrate your windshield, causing sun damage and spots on your face, neck, chest, arms and hands? Here’s an easy skin saving tip. Keep a cotton shirt in your car. Before getting into the driver seat, put your shirt on backwards so the back of the collar protects and blocks the sun’s rays from your neck, décolletage and arms. I also keep a pair of cotton gloves in my car and put those on when driving. And I wear sun glasses.

On a side note: Just today, a friend saw my hands, arms and chest as I pulled up to her place. As I removed the shirt – she was shocked that I had no tan or beauty marks and commented on how young my face, neck, chest, arms and hands looked. I showed her my shirt and glove tip and she also ordered my skin care products! I have to walk the ladies! Hee hee.

  1. Use effective skin care products with proven ingredients – and keep your skin care routine simple  – so you’ll do it every morning and night. Here’s my quick and easy skin care routine which I’ve shared with thousands of women who also use and swear by my products.

Morning Routine:

  1. I cleanse my skin with Beyond Clean Cleanser.
  2. I tone skin and balance the pH of my skin with Soothing Toner
  3. Next, I massage Ultimate Age-proofing Complex (UAPC) on my face, temples, under eyes, on jowls, neck and chest. TIP: I put UAPC on my hands at night too. The EGF in UAPC helps thicken and brighten thinning skin on face, neck, chest and hands!
  4. Next, I apply Natural Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 30 – a new formulation made for the face. It’s non-whitening, non-greasy and looks great under makeup. And it does not clog skin.
  5. Wait about 30 seconds to allow sun screen to settle on skin, then apply your makeup. I use powder mineral makeup by Mineral Fusion, mascara, blush and  lip gloss by Gabrielle Cosmetics. Get the makeup at most health food stores. .

Night Routine:

  1. Cleanse skin with Beyond Clean Cleanser
  2. Tone skin and balance pH with Soothing Toner
  3. Apply Skin Uplift Serum on face, temples, under eyes, on jowls, neck and chest. Some women put Skin Uplift Serum on their arms too! I am currently working on a body serum – so keep reading my newsletters!

Exfoliation Routine:
Twice a week, be sure to exfoliate skin with Exfoliating Enzyme Powder. You can use the powder two ways – as a scrub or apply it on clean skin as a mask and leave it on for 5 minutes. Then rinse it off with tepid water.

Exfoliating the skin twice weekly is very important as it helps to mechanically remove dull skin cells, helps to stimulate the production of collagen and helps to smooth fine lines and fade spots spots.

NOTE: Those with sensitive skin should do the mask only once a week and avoid scrubbing.
